PETROL CAR VS DIESEL CAR

                             PETROL VS DIESEL CARS

The basic premise should be to go in for a petrol car and then depending on the number of kilometers you drive every month. There are so many factors to take into account and that can make things very complicated. Diesel is cheap and economical, but the diesel version of a car is significantly more expensive than the petrol.
In general, servicing costs and costs of spare parts are higher for diesel cars than petrol ones.Right from the cost of oil replacement to the battery and clutch plate, etc. all cost more in case of diesel cars.
Also, the NVH (noise, vibration and harshness) levels of petrol cars are lower than that of diesel cars.
However, since diesel engines do not make use of spark plugs that cost can be eliminated. But they do get turbochargers which will push up maintenance costs.
And then, there is also the comfort factor. Would you rather drive the noiseless and totally vibration free petrol-engined car or the slightly noisier diesel? Even though diesels are much quieter than before, and the high-end cars are well insulated, low-end cars can still be noisy.
